FZ Series – Fluid-bed

Working Principle

Fluid-bed granulator is to putting the material powder into a container, suspending the powder with air to make it fluidized, then atomizing and spraying the binder through spray gun to agglomerate with powder into particles.

After granulation, the material is agglomerated into particles, which has the following features:

• The internal porosity of the particles is improved, easy to disintegrate and dissolve.
• The bulk density of material is reduced, which is better for tablet pressing.
• Uniform particle size, can reduce the weight difference and improve the surface finish of pressed tablet.
• No more dust generation, more in line with the sanitary requirements of pharmaceutical factory.
• The fluidity is improved for easy transportation.
