Continuous manufacturing (CM) refers to a new type of production method that integrates various unit operations into a highly cohesive system through computer control, connecting traditional discrete unit operations to form a continuous production line. This approach increases the continuous flow of materials throughout the production process, meaning that from the input of raw and auxiliary materials to the output of the final product, there are no interruptions. The raw materials and finished products are input and output at the same rate. Additionally, the implementation of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) ensures the quality of the final product.
