One thing to note: the difference between the specific gravity of solids and liquid should not be too large. These stirrers are more commonly used in crystallization operations. It can be used in the case of high anchor degree, and the speed is generally controlled at 15~60r/min.

The propulsion type stirrer

The propulsion agitator generally has three blades and is in the form of a spiral propeller, just like the propeller on a ship. This kind of stirrer is used for the reaction that needs to be stirred vigorously, and the material can be mixed in the radial and axial directions. For example, to make mutually immiscible liquid in an emulsion state, so that a small amount of solid material to remain in suspension, in order to facilitate the reaction. Turbine stirrer

The turbine stirrer can stir the liquid most vigorously, it is especially suitable for mixing two liquids with a large difference in viscosity, a suspension containing a high concentration of solid particles, two liquids with a large difference in specific gravity or a gas in the liquid needs to be fully dispersed and other occasions, the speed is generally up to 200~1000r/min. When using active nickel for catalytic hydrogenation reaction, as the active nickel deposited at the bottom is stirred and In catalytic hydrogenation reaction with active nickel, since the active nickel deposited on the bottom has to be stirred and dispersed into the reaction liquid, the use of this stirrer can be effective.
